My husband and I stayed there for 2 nights as a side trip from Vegas.The hotel was quaint and lovely and had a lodge type appeal. It was close to the entrance to the park which was nice. Well, you are definitely paying for staying in the Grand Canyon. It is very overpriced for what it offers. When you get there, you have to check in at the El Tovar hotel which is always busy and the front desk had nothing but trainees checking you in and were not very knowledegeable.
