We stayed for 2 nights in the 'Black Forest' room - this was upstairs, with kitchenette and a/c and decorated in a very cute/quaint way that reminded us of Christmas! Almost all residents and workers have been evacuated from the popular scenic region of Big Sur. A 30-mile stretch of coastal Highway 1 has been closed. Stay away from Tahoe Keys resort at all costs. My experience with them was horrible. Their website looks good, and they are friendly when you make a reservation. But in reality they are completely unreasonable and will not hesitate to stonewall tenants or resort to "enforcing" their draconian lease. I could not believe what a dump this was. The only good thing was the view but it is not worth staying in this place. The rooms are old and outdate. The beds are hard. The bathroom was so small the door would hit the toilet when you opened it. Only a shower no tub. When out on the balcony... more
