We love this place and go regularly. The food is always excellent and the standard never slips. The menu is small which means that all dishes are cooked to order. The staff are friendly and helpful. Plus you get free pappadums - what else could you ask for? more

We stayed here overnight whilst on a shopping trip to Chester. The hotel was very nice - it had character unlike some of the new modern hotels. We sat by an open fire in the bar area which was really relaxing. The pool was brilliant, 1.2m deep and open until 10pm so just right for a swim after a hectic... more
