For a no-nonsense straightforward hotel this place does the job. A three day business trip required a good value hotel without being miles out of town. Rooms are clean and well equipped, if rather bland. Service efficient and in very good english. Easy to find with car. Free parking directly before hotel. Friendly and enthousiastic reception personnel. Big comfortable room. Self cooking possible in hotelroom. The price is big plus. My husband and I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Dusseldorf with their Romance Package booked through a travel agency. The hotel was very easy to find, within walking distance from the train station. The check-in was very fast, we arrived close to midnight and were hungry do the receptionist recommended a very good American Styled restaurant down the street.... more
