The Korona Hotel in Eger is in a good location within walking distance to the town center. The staff is very friendly and helpful but the hotel needs a lot of work. This is an old and quaint hotel located on the square in the center of town. The staff, including the owner, were cordial but not overly friendly although we did feel welcome. The hotel and our room were very clean. Accommodations were pretty basic, but functional. The restaurant served an amazing variety of food, and ours were very well prepared.... more
