I stayed at Surabaya Plaza for 2 night in July 2008. This was my second time visit there. No significant different between my second and first stay (back in 1998). We got a suite room in a price of standar room in other hotel. The room was quite outdated but still comfortable. The breakfast buffet was good compared with surabaya... more

This is one of the finest hotels I've ever been to. It's cosy and intimate and lovely... u'll definitely fall in love with its ambience at first sight! Here is what I gleaned from my 3 week stay at the Gran Mahakam.... The Blok-M area in the immediate vicinity of the hotel is quite congested with everything from nicer restaurants to little street vendors.
