Furama City Centre

Jul 24, 2008

I stayed 3 days at the Furama City Center in July 2008. Was promptly upgraded to an Executive room upon arrival. Staff very friendly and helpfull. If they were keen on tips, they didn’t show it. The gym is not worth its name, 4 basic machines crammed into a very small room. They have a small launderette for hotel guests,... more

Swissotel Merchant Court

Jul 24, 2008

We stayed at Merchant Court Swissotel, after a week in London. And found the place just fine. Staff at checkin were great, room was a little smaller than expected, but the bathroom made up for it compared to what we had in London. Location is next door to Clark Quay MRT and easy walking distance to China Town, and both... more

Jul 24, 2008

I stayed here for one night en route from Australia to Europe in July 2008. We got a good rate through the SIA Singapore Stopover program, but I do think the usual advertisted rates for the hotel are a little high for what you get. This is very much a hotel populated by "young and beautiful" guests. The room was... more

I booked this hotel in Singapore as I've search through a lot of other hotels. Seriously considering Singapore a tourist attraction, i don't really think that the hotel rate are cheap. They are very high priced and it is not worth for us to pay for even a night stay. My story will tell you why. I arrived from Malaysia... more

South East Asia Hotel

Jul 24, 2008

I stayed at the SEA Hotel for the first time in 2007. At first i felt a little strange, because the hotel ask (not require) that you leave the room key with the front desk when you go out. But beside that, the staff is friendly, the room are clean, the location is great, breakfast was adequate for an asian... more

During my two last visit in Singapore, on November 2006 dan March 2007, i came to Mustafa Center. On my first visit a tour guide who's an Indonesian with a working basis in Batam (which means he tavelled to Singapore almost every month) reccomend me to try Mustafa as a place to shop. And i quite like it. Off course... more

Hotel was in an good location, however the bathrooms are in need of some TLC!. We first checked in, and was given our room, a deluxe room with a king bed. The room its self seemed to be alright, but when I went into the bathroom I was shocked and appalled to see mould on the walls, and on the... more

Jul 23, 2008

We have been to Singapore on a number of occasions, but last year was the first time we visited Lau Pa Sat. It was fabulous. They close the street off at night and you can order your satays from a number of stalls. Vendors also come around selling beer and soft drinks. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening and will be... more

Jul 23, 2008

Stayed in one of the larger suites - yes it's an older establishment, but the service is impeccable, the breakfast is amazing, and the decor is great as well. Location is fairly close to the MRT, and Orchard Road is a shopping haven. more

Novotel Clarke Quay Singapore

Jul 23, 2008

The Singapore Novotel is very much in the Novotel corporate 'style'. The room we had was small, as was the bathroom, with minimalism taken to an extreme - no-where to sit other than on the bed and not enough room to put down our suitcases. In fact if there had been a chair we would had to have left our... more

Pan Pacific Singapore

Jul 23, 2008

After five weeks of cheap hotels across Asia, I decided to splurge in Singapore and the Pan Pacific was worth every penny. Top-notch service, incredible room, and great view of the city. Be sure to have a Singapore Sling in the atrium. more

Pan Pacific Singapore

Jul 22, 2008

We stayed in the Pan Pacific on our way back from Bali for two nights and how we wish it had been longer as there was so much more to see in Singapore. The hotel is situated on Raffles Boulevard and is connected to three shopping centres so ideal if shopping is your thing. The hotel is amazing. The reception... more

I liked my visit to Singapore. The place was very clean and organized. Impressive, considering it's in Asia. Almost everything in Singapore is like Melbourne, Australia (where I'm from). Well maybe not the weather and the fashion. Everyone in Singapore seems to be dressed up in designer fashion whereas in Melbourne, people tend to support local brands and dress more... more

Peninsula Excelsior Hotel

The minute we check-in on 11th July,2008, with my wife>> The receptionist said "You must pay SGD50.00 for the Bar Counter". "If you extend your stay, wil be SGD240 per night". One hour later after we came down from our room(We need to call for our luggage to be sent to our room while waiting). The same receptionist did not... more

We went to Singapore on a family reunion (we live in different countries), it's me and my parents' first trip to Singapore and I have to say the hotel is a little disappointing. We arrived at around 9pm, my uncle booked 3 rooms and he had already checked in. We went to the front desk and asked the girl if... more

Jul 21, 2008

We stayed one night in this lovely hotel en route from Europe to Australia in July 2008. If you are looking for a comfortable, easy stopover experience with good access to mainstream shopping and dining options (rather than a perhaps more interesting experience in one of Singapore's more diverse ethnic enclaves like Chinatown and Little India, both of which have... more

Oxford Hotel

Jul 21, 2008

The Orchard hotel is just okay... The location is bad because we are very far from Orchard road. The food is almost the same everyday... The rooms are small and not uniform with other room... as if they're trying to make everything fit even if it cannot...But so far our stay was ok more

Swissotel Merchant Court

In stead of Swissotel the Stamford, I mistakenly booked this hotel. Even I paid for executive room, the rooms seemed small compared to others similar standard hotel, anyway it is still comfortable to overnight for single person. The location is not bad, as it is located on Clarke Quay, and walking distance to Clarke Quay MRT station. However, it is... more
