We were booked into the hotel over Christmas. We had a large room with a good bathroom. The general standard was well up to the 3 1/2 star status of the hotel. The hotel website looks so good, the place itself is a disappointment! They must have had a change of owners. There aren't a lot of good choices for nice hotels in Madurai. There are lots of choices downtown near the temple, but those are dodgy at best.
