My wife and I wanted to stay somewhere for a night that would give us a true Japanese experience. We live in Japan so we had an advantage when choosing a location. Toba City in Mie Prefecture is great for those who want to stay by the seaside. We chose Yukinosato from the recommendations of many Japanese Guest house websites.... more

This is a very nice hotel in a good location, with good restaurants and facilities. So where does eveyone get to? I had a very good dinner in the Japanese restaurant (not too expensive) and my only company was the waiter and a large tank of fish and eels that were probably half of the menu. So fresh then!
