Tropical Storm Hanna

Tropical Storm Hanna landed near the border between North and South Carolina early Saturday morning. The hurricane watch for the Carolinas has been canceled, but tropical storm alerts cover the Atlantic seaboard from the Carolinas to Massachusetts. Hanna is expected to bring heavy rains, wind and rough surf all along the coast.

Spent the night in March with good outcome so we returned for a 2 day stay. Great front desk help still the same. Nice continental breakfast. However pool still closed probable till next year. Needs to be rebuilt. Rooms sort of patch work -some good some bad. Beer cans under bushes,plumbing issues in some rooms but they are working on... more

Stayed here August 7th on the way to Florida. Had read about it on TripAdvisor and called the hotel the day before. The rate was $44 for 1 bed. Adding on 2 kids ($5) and a dog ($10), the final total was $71 inclusive. Needed to bring the coupon from the hotels magazine you can pick up when entering Georgia.... more

I am ordering some of their BBQ for Clemson/Bama this year. You CANNOT find better BBQ anywhere. If you are anywhere near Kingsland do yourself a big favor and stop. It is convenient to the highway and close to Jacksonville. Fantastic! more
