The BBQ is the best I've had. The sauce is great and I can never decide which meat is the best, they're all good, brisket, pork ribs, sausage, chicken. Had a fantastic experience at the Salt Lick. The BBQ is absolutely fantastic and the overall experience the icing on the cake. To Texans BYOB- means bring your cooler full of beer. It was friendly and enjoyable to watch all of the people while we enjoyed a great meal. more

I've been a couple times and it is a lovely place to dine out here in the Hill Country. I give it 3 1/2 stars. The grounds and building are lovely. Make sure to stop next door at the Mandola Winery to do a tasting while you wait for your table. The food in consistently good but nothing really blew... more
