The Trafford Centre opened amidst much fanfare in 1997, supposedly bringing upmarket shops and outstanding entertainment to the area. Whilst it is correct that it is basically a shopping centre with the same shops as every other, there are a few points that make this place stand out from others. Firstly the free parking is a bonus with plenty of spaces mid week (avoid like the plague around christmas unless you want to spend half the day hunting for a space- and half a day trying to get off the car park) Lots of lifts. The shops are all the same, mosty womens cloths shops nothing special. more
