Yodobashi has its beautiful flagship store located just footsteps from Akihabara station. It basically follows the depato idea of Japan (department store), but is solely dedicated to electronics, appliances, office goods, and toys. Akihabara used to be a great place for Americans to shop for cheap Japanese electronic goods. That was in the days of old, before the dot coms for sure, and when electronic goods were actually still made in Japan (no longer the case).
