I thought I would write a short review as the ones here are 4 years out of date and so misleading.... Grace bay is stunning, the pictures don't do it justice. the water in the summer months is lovely and warm ..during the first few months of the year the water (Atlantic Ocean) gets rather chilly. Glad to have visited Provo for two weeks but thought the island very overrated. Stayed at the Alexandra right on Grace Bay and enjoyed the walks along the beach but there really isn't much else on the island!! Had a hired four wheel drive but there's nowhere special to go to! Having been to Aruba, Bahamas, St. Croix, Cancun, Cozumel, Maui & Kauai, Grand Cayman, I think we have developed a pretty good sense of what to expect when traveling. Grace Bay Beach is wonderful. We were there during low season (June 2004) and the beach was uncrowded. The beach is very wide and long. It is a wonderful beach to walk, jog along.
