A negative is the lack of food, hot dogs & hamburgers, plan to eat after or before or bring your own. We went during low seasons so some exhibits were closed. The only hands on activity were the hermit crabs. On the positive side: a variety of animals, turtles, exotice fish, baby sharks, string rays, sea lions, so on. Other... more

My daughter and I just returned from a cruise on Holland America's Zuiderdam. After reading reviews about Coral World on this site we decided to visit and make reservations to take the optional Shark Experience. Coral World is a lovely place and the taxi ride ($10 each) was a tour in itself. This is a laid back park with many... more

We just returned from Coral World today. It was tremendous. $18 per adult certainly isn't cheap, but it is a great value compared to the prices of other island attractions. Also, there are significant discounts available from your cruise ship, hotel or even print-your-own on line. We chose Coral World because the young girls in our party (ages 2, 4... more

We visited Coral World during our stay in November, 2007. My grandson (6-years) really enjoyed all of the exhibits, and especially the touch tank. My cousin, in her 50's, had never seen a Seahorse, and she was just amazed with that display. Although the park is small, it's worth the price if you have kids, or if you're traveling with... more

We weren't sure if we would enjoy Coral World much since we are scuba divers, but it was amazing. The iguanas wandering around freely were definitely a highlight. They had some amazing tanks with tons of fish and other creatures to see. This would be a great place for children of all ages. Please take a look at my amazing... more

Coral World in St Thomas is one of those places that you go to because there is nothing else to do if you stay on the island for 1 week or more. The open air park set up is nice, and 1/2 in the shade (thankfully-95 degress on the beach is HOT). The turtles are fun to watch, the sharks... more

We went to Coral World Ocean Park and had a great time! We had a large group, and most of the people went through the entire exhibit and spent less than two hours. They all complained about the price and didn't enjoy themselves. My parents and I took the time to really appreciate the experience. We watched each exhibit carefully,... more

On our last day in St. Thomas, we decided to do something that was not on the water or directly in the sun. This was the perfect escape. Admission was about $18 per adult, which was a little steep. We spent about 1 and a half hours walking around and exploring Coral World. It was cool to see the names... more

Even the reviewers of popular guide books say this tourist spot is a must see and we would agree. Worth the trip with children. Very Very hands on. Don't miss the Sea Trek or shark encounter! My kids did'nt stop talking about this treat. The director is wonderful if you are lucky enough to meet him during your visit. These... more

One of the best memories I have is of a family day at Coral World last winter. It is the most beautiful place in the world. (If you are a nature lover) We were on a cruise. We have actually rented a condo in St. Thomas just to go back to Coral World and Mountaintop. One day was not enough.... more
