Coki Beach was the most fun we had the whole vacation. At first we were somewhat sketched out by the locals telling us where to park, when we didn't even know we were at the beach yet. They walked us to the beach and got our snorkel gear and hooked us up for the rest of the day. So relaxing... more

From what I remeber about my experiences at Coki beach I had a great time! Just park, walk to the beach and relax. Soon a local waiter will cruise by and you can get "whatever you want from him." Go there when the ship is not in town because then you get a bunch of lame tourists hanging around crowding... more

My wife and I had a very poor experience at Coki Beach when we visited for the day last year. The beach is rundown, the local merchants were hawking items and harassing beachgoers (somewhat expected), and the general feeling is unsafe. There are way too many people on this small beach, and no small alcoves or any place to go... more

The setting is beautiful. The water and the snorkeling are great, as are the views from the beach - as long as you look at the water. As another poster stated the area is a bit run down. This beach may be a little "too" island for some folks. On a recent visit (July 2008) the one restroom was not... more

After having gone to Magens Bay and Trunk Bay, nothing else compares. Even so, there were too many rocks, too many broken down buildings, and too much graffiti. There were fish out there, and you can feed them so they will come close. That was definitely cool. But that is about all that I enjoyed. Also good to note that... more

Check out Coki beach. It was the highlight of our trip. We rented chairs, an umbrella, 2 masks, snorkels, and fins for $25.00. Weve never been snorkeling before and didnt know what to look for, however, we met a local who took us out very far and showed a coral garden as well as some octopus and squid. Coral world is... more

Coki is a fun beach to hit for the day- yes, it gets packed when there are ships in (check the schedule) but even then, its a good timeif you can get out there early and get a good spot. Prepare to get approached for chair rentals, braiding, etc- a simple "no thanks" takes care of that. I second the... more

I've been to Coki several times and again just last week. I am concerned by the impact on which the tourists have with this beautiful environment. Most importantly, please do not feed dog bones to the fish. Think about it. Would you eat a dog bone? Of course not. It's not part of your diet. So why would you give... more

To fully enjoy Coki you must expect the unexpected! There are FISH galore but dont expect the refinements of USA Florida. The beach is perfect for snorkelling. Check out where restroom is first so you dont set up a long walk from it. Vendors enjoy bartering with you but mostly their prices are very reasonable. Their standard of living is... more
