A must see, a previous review was incorrect the Margartias are a dollar only 10 pesos! We enjoyed the Cheeky Monkey and have put it on our list of things to do when we return. Its right in the middle of the boardwalk, the view is great for people watching. more

Fantastic!! The view and the orchestration to the sunset was the absolute highlight of our trip! This 3rd floor bar serves the best 100 peso beers and margueritas. We spent alot of our time walking throughout the Malecon, as our hotel was right near by in the old downtown area. The ocean view is great, we loved seeing all the displays like the hand made sand sculptures that were just beautiful... the statues, the beach, bridges, everything was nice! If your down in Puerto Vallarta, I definetely recommend visiting the Malecon "boardwalk". It is truly amazing. The best time to go is after 9pm, that's when there's the most going on there.
