This excursion ended up being a pricey and disappointing evening for our family. Pros: The meal was better than I expected it would be. The employees work very hard and drink service is fast. The acrobatics and fireworks were good, although few. Historical performance was interesting. Great scenery from the ship. Cons: Very crowded bench seats, we were seated in... more

We did the Marigalante cruise on June 13th. A Friday the 13th horror movie came to life on this cruise! The cruise itself around the Bay of Banderas and the ship is beautiful. However, we were horrified by the raging bees on Las Majahuites Beach. The bees were so thick no one could enjoy themselves..we were literally stuck on bee... more

This was one of the highlights of the trip we did it on the last night the drinks where great weather perfect the crew was friendly and the show amazing. The crew really do a great job of getting everyone involved in the show and off their butts. Please take dramine if you get sick as the boat will be... more

We took the morning tour since we had two boys (10 and 11). Everything started out okay, breakfast was alright, not the greatest. Then about thirty minutes into the tour , while the pirates are doing all of their skits, the power went out. We had to coast out in the ocean for approx. 30-45 minutes, very choppy water. Finally... more

Our group took the night tour after someone recommended that it is for adults only and will be like a floating nightclub. Not at all!!! The show was corny and cheesy. They attempted to make the show sexy and geared for adults, but their attempts were futile. We kept rolling our eyes and hoped for it to end. Even gulping... more

The entertainment was cheap and cheesy. The first half of the cruise consisted of tourist competition - highlights of which included 3 women singing La Cucaracha with ice cubes in their mouths, and later putting on ponchos and pretending to do a striptease. There was a good Aztec show with fire dancing, but this lasted only 15 minutes of the... more

My husband and I did the Pirates adventure at night and it was very entertaining. They try to get everyone involved too which is great. Highly recommend. The dinner was decent – we both got the steak and shrimp and it was okay. more

To start I am biased. I love pirates. I have a complete fascination with them. The MARIGALANTE PIRATE SHIP was fun and the service is excellent. We went on the sunset "adult" cruise. The cruise starts at 6 p.m. but you can start arriving at 4:30. What that means is the earlier you get there the better your seat. We... more

Went on the Pirate Ship cruise with our 3 kids (6, 5 & 1). Expectations were high as this was the thing our kids were most looking forward to. Were told to get there early for boarding 8am, turn out the ship did not leave until 9 so we sat around for a while. Breakfast provided was simple, if you... more

I booked a trip for my family after reading about it online. It seemed like a fun family activity and we definately wanted to go snorkeling while we were visiting PV. My kids are ages 9, 11 & 13. I think the older two thought the whole pirate theme was to young for them. First, you board and eat breakfast.... more
