First time to visit XCaret. It was a long bus trip, but not too bad. We did the Plus Package, which I wouldn't recommend. You leave at 9:30 but don't arrive until around 11:30-Noon. Xcaret is a must see on your trip to Cancun, Playa del Carmen, or Cozumel. It is family friendly and the kids will really enjoy all the animals.
