We just returned from a visit to Vieux Quebec and loved Lower Town. It is charming and colorful with lots of shops and cafes. Everywhere there are flowers and strung overhead are brightly colored sprinkling cans that are lit up. Must Sees are Englise Notre-Dame-des-Victories which is the oldest church in Quebec and stands on the site of Champlain's first... more

Lower Town is absolutely charming. I loved going thru all of the little stores, and just being in the oldest part of Canada. The architecture of the buildings is amazing, and the views of the St. Lawrence are really nice. When you walk down the stairs (the picture) keep going straight and you'll get an amazing view of Le Chateau... more
