The Arts Tower is an amazing building, being an architecture student in Sheffield, meant that a vast majority of my time is spent high up in the tower. The paternoster lift is the single best way to travel ever invented. Its amusing watching 'first-timers,' they're never to sure as to how they should step onto it, and so they end... more

"Boasting 19 stories and serviced by a continuously moving paternoster lift" claims the postcard of this shrine to the paternoster lift that dwells within it's epicentre. The divine structure that is the Arts Tower stands out for miles within Sheffield, providing an omni-present symbol of what mortal men can achieve should they dare venture within the bowels of the building.... more
