Buddah Bar is very expensive whicb is fine or at least ok if you are getting good service, good food etc. However this is not the case. I have eaten at lots of restaurants of a similar price bracket and never felt as totally ripped off as i did at buddah bar. The food is nothing special, portions ridiculously small(my... more

It's a rip off, I've loved the music of Buddha bar for years so was excited to visit the place created by George V, but the portions are small, it's more like a canteen than an intimate atmosphere, the food is basically chucked out the kitchens They do not deserve your money. more

Came across the music in Chile a few years ago and we always said next time in Paris we must go to the Buddha Bar. Went on our wedding anniversary and oh what a rip off. It was too dark to comment on the decor. The people next to us needed the light from a mobile phone to read the... more

Supposed to be hip and trendy. Nothing close to TAO in NYC. Buddha bar is small, cramped, understaffed and attitudinal. My friend and I were treated with no regard, we spend over 500 USD on champagne and very wimpy warm sushi, never once did the server refill our champagne or water, we asked for chopstix, never, we asked for low... more

We visited the Buddha Bar in Paris last week as we were staying opposite at the Sofitel Le Faubourg and the menu looked more interesting than the hotel restaurant. Although our suite overlooked the entrance (and the half dozen or so tables outside), we never saw anyone coming or going from Sunday to Wednesday, so thought we would easily get... more

Having read many varied reviews about Buddha Bar in Paris, we were not sure what to expect. The atmosphere of the bar / restaurant is just brilliant - the great big Buddha statue in the middle and candlelight everywhere and of course great music. The music was only on as "background music" earlier in the evening, after ~ 11pm the... more

The decor is beautiful, although the place is big, decor and setting makes it still suitable for a couple dinner. Music selection is a must ! Good asian culinary experience. more

Buddha Bar is a fabulous and classy bar and restaurant which pumps great dance/club music, employs professional wait staff and concierge and spares few details. This isn't a tourist stop-- it's a classy dining establishment. As such, people who aren't dressed the part have no place here. Having read over 30 reviews of Buddha Bar prior to visiting, I was... more

Having listened to their compilations since they first came out about ten years ago, visiting the Buddha Bar was for a must for me. It's not quite the trendy place it once was, though, simply because the novelty has gone, but the atmosphere is still very good. The food was fine - I had scallops and a red curry, which... more
