We booked the show based on the reviews on Tripadvisor and we didn't regret it for a second! It really is a good as the everybody is saying - it' s intimate, authentic and filled with passion! And yes - get their early, otherwise you'll be stuck with the seats in the third row and I don't think you can... more

The performers consist of a guitar player, singer and dancer - all of which were excellent. You can find lots of free Flamenco shows in bars & restaurants around town, whch is great, but that's like comparing a lounge singer to a professional concert. Think of this as the "concert" version... it takes it to another level, and it's definitely... more

I booked the Casa de la Memoria on the reviews I read on trip advisor. There are two shows, 9.00 and 10.30 and the price was 14 euros. Very easy to find, about 2 minutes into Santa Cruz from the cathedral. Lovely setting, small courtyard, very intimate. The show was fabulous, guitar playing, singing and dancing. I would really recommend... more

Absolutely well worth a visit. The show is set in a court yard with about a 100 seats (if that). Very small and intimate and you almost feel as if you are a part of the show. We were totally enthralled by the show. The music, the dancing, just fantastic. Locals were at the show and you feel as if... more

First thing - make sure you arrive well before 8.30 if you want a good seat. If you find that all the decent seats are already taken, then position yourself at the back of the room, directly facing the front of the stage - when proceedings start, you can slip behind the seats and stand on a step - giving... more

If you're planning a trip to Sevilla and are looking to experience true flamenco, then you should definitely visit Casa de la Memoria. Although any flamenco "show" is intended for tourists, the audience at Casa de la Memoria often includes locals and Spaniards from other parts of the country, which in my opinion, speaks volumes about the caliber of the... more

We went here based on tripadvisor reviews and Rick Steves' recommendations. It was wonderful. It is a rather small courtyard setting, with three rows of chairs around a small stage. It was different than what l expected, but that was probably a case of not knowing what to expect. First a guitar player was alone, then joined by a male... more

My wife and I saw four shows at the Casa de la Memoria, with a different group performing each night. This allowed us to see various styles of Flamenco. It is located in Barrio Santa Cruz. The venue is a courtyard, with U-shaped seating around the dance platform. There are three rows of seats. The front row is excellent, about... more

The Flamenco dancing was very nice. The dancing especially when both dancers were dancing was incredible. The setting was beautiful but it is not planned well. We reserved 1 week before by phone but on the day we got caught in a Semana Santa procession crowd so we arrived only 15 mins before the show started. We paid the normal... more
