I liked the National Gallery but I wasn't unduly impressed with it. The architecture of the building is beautiful and it houses many different paintings of all different styles. If you are an art major you would probably be thrilled. We did purchase an Artecard but unfortunately did not make it to any of the other six specified historical sites... more

It houses Duccio, Fra Angelico, a colloection of Perugino(quite naturally), Pinturicchio, and Piero della Francesca's one of the masterpiece, "Polyptych of San Antonio." It is one of the must-see museums in Italy. more
