The Natural History Museum in Helsinki is very much worth a visit! The building itself is amazing to look at, with the high tower and scenes on the doors. Situated just past the Parliament building on Mannerheimintie, this Museum actually resembles a church. The collections include medals and coins in the basement area, then an excellent series of rooms on upper levels showing life in different years from "hard times" right up to the year 2000.
