“Make sure you get the Marquis!”

The previous reviews describe the house. Check that it will actually be the Marquis that is conducting the tour and you will meet a very knowledgeable and funny man that has a real passion for this property. Unlike any other tour you will take. Tours last about an hour but I could have chatted to him for at least twice... more

The de Piro family belongs to the old nobility of Malta, its history closely intertwined with that of the island. We went well out of season - so things might be different in the summer. The house is still lived in and you are guided round by an elderly gentleman, who turned out to be the owner.
