This place is absolutely beautiful. We visited while on a cruise vacation July, 2008. Before going I looked at sites on the internet to find out about the dress code required to visit this casino. I read conflicting information...some sites said that ties and jackets were required for men and that you could enter an alternate casino at the entrance... more

Stayed in Cannes for Easter and went to Monte Carlo for the afternoon one of the days. Walked in through the door of the Casino just to have a look, didn't want to go any further. An officious young doorman spoke to us in English (I do speak a little French and had managed very well over the whole weekend)... more

I do not know why there is so much misinformation about the casino. Let's see if I can clear it up. 1) There are many casinos in Monte Carlo. The Casino, that is the main tourist attraction, is in the main square. There is another one there as well. 2) Jackets are NOT required in the casino. As a matter... more

it's a beautiful building - shame you can't take pictures, it's really really glam. We're not into gambling but husband wanted to see it cause of 007!! Stay a while and check out the players and how much money is played - WOW Also check out the cars going past outside - again, WOW. Monaco is such a beautiful place. more
