Wow, I really loved this place, it was so different from any of the other castles or palaces that I have ever visited before. Went to Hellbrunn Castle in March 2008. The castle is very nice with lots of exotic paintings inside. The trick fountain tour was lots of fun too. I spent 2 days in Salzburg and visited Hellbrunn castle while I was there. The castle was close to the city, but not within walking distance. It took around 15 minutes to drive... more

Went there late May 2006. Beatiful place: see photos. Recommended to families with children. There is a lovely playground there. more

This is a very fun place to go and is very easy to reach from the center of Salzburg, either a short (15 minute) bus ride or inexpensive taxi ride. Tours are on a regular schedule and are very fun. There are water tricks all over the place. This guy loved getting his guests soaked with a spray or two... more
