Possibly the best museum in Prague to get to know about the city and where it has come from. I saw it on the last day of a 6 week stay, and I certainly do not regret taking the time out to see it then! more

Much of this museum was, to be honest, not really our cup of tea, but this museum is worth visiting for one item alone. It has a scale model of Prague made circa 1830, covering 20 sq m, showing the city as it was then in minute detail. Much of the city has remained famously unchanged since those times, but... more
