My family and i live in New Zealand(a long long way from Disneyland)and we are about to take our 3rd family vacation to Anaheim in as many years....While this comes at a huge expense to my husband and i(in total $100,000 and counting)it has and is money well spent and in my mind there is no greater place to pass... more

Disneyland has real magic and when you walk through the gate you immediately feel eight years old again jumping up and down because you see Mickey and Minnie posing for pictures. If you have never been to Disneyland make sure you dont miss a thing. The fireworks show is unbelieveable and should not be missed. Its worth sitting and waiting... more

Disneyland is not just for the kids. Maybe locals who go there regularly get blase, but after travelling all the way from Australia we were very impressed. It is a very happy place, better than we had expected. I have waited 50 years to meet Mickey Mouse and was not let down, he's wonderful. Walt Disney was such a brilliant... more

We just back today from our first ever trip to Disneyland. We had the 5 day park hopper tickets, and were there from Sept 6-10. Crowds were very busy on Saturday, Sunday, and (this surprised me since school is back in session) Monday. this is a wonderful place to go, for all ages. it has everything. the food can get pricey I usually bring a lunch in my backpack. save your money for gifts. and if you don't like crowds and fear loosing people or if you wanna catch as many rides as possible and not stand in lines all day. We had 8 day park hopper tickets and enjoyed every day! The Disney California Adventure Park is geared more for teenagers and Disneyland toward smaller kids. We have boys 14 and 15 and they enjoyed Space Mountain, Indy Jones, Splash mountain, Star tours, Buzzlightyear, Haunted Mansion, and Pirates of Caribean at Disneyland. I think too many people go to Disneyland with the wrong attitude and are negative before they even set foot in the park.
