Was there in May '05. Hiked back into the lava, saw wild goats running around. The waves were crashing into the lava flows and spraying into the air at least 50-60 feet. The hike is a little rough, don't wear flip flops. more

Ahihi Cove was one of many places we snorkeled in Hawaii and it's one of the best. Arrive in the early morning for best visibility and plenty of sea turtle sightings.
