This note is to correct what I am seeing on this page about the Suleymaniye Mosque. It is indeed one of the most beautiful mosques of Istanbul and it was indeed built by the great Sinan. But he has not built Hagia Sophia! While Sinan worked long after the fall of constantinople (1453) Hagia Sophia was built around 800 c.e. more
