The National Orchid Garden is within the Botanical Gardens and is definitely worth a small detour. It is well laid-out, and a quiet, pleasant and peaceful stop. Take your time since it can be steamy, especially at midday. Perfect side trip after shopping on Orchard Road since it is close by. more

The National Orchid Garden is contained within Singapore's Botanic Gardens. There is a small entrance charge to the Orchid Garden, unlike the main body of the Botanic Gardens. If you have even the faintest interest for gardening, flowers, orchids - you have to go to the National Orchid Garden whilst in Singapore.
