We checked in quickly at 12 noon. Room was ready - exactly as we requested it - non-smoking, 2 dbl beds, high floor, away from elevator. We were very happy to get into the room so early! I should have known to stay away since my mother and I had a problem with staff rudeness 3 years ago. I returned with friends, and we all agreed that Showboat's staff must have been through training on rudeness to guests. Staff does not know how to smile. Tony and TIna's Wedding at the Showboat Casino was the worst dinner and worst show we've ever attended. I cannot recommend it in any respect.
