Beach is very good for swimming and sunbaking. One of 2 places in the seychelles where I saw giant tortoise, the other being La Digue Union Estate. There are 2 restaurants at either end of the beach. Visited Anse Lazio in Feb 2008 and the sea was really rough. Nice that there was turtles to look at for the children and the restaurant there was nice. Our teenagers enjoyed the huge waves but papa had to forget his snorkeling! : ) more

Visited the Seychelles in August 05 on a Sailing holiday with friends, we travelled aorund Mahe, Praslin and La Digue but we just kept going back to this beach. Visited Anse Lazio as part of a daytrip visiting the islands of Praslin and La Digue (was holidaying on Mahe). I had been impressed with the lovely beaches on La Digue (made famous in the Bounty ads) but Anse Lazio was the best beach i visited in the Seychelles and one of the best beaches i've ever been to.
