I tend to visit Tokyo for business, and stay at the Dai Ichi hotel or Dai Ichi Annex, so for me Ginza is a great place to wander around between meetings or in the evenings. Who is the researcher for this trip that stuck us at an airport hotel? Ahhhh...Lynn! Just the same old upscale stores on the Ginza that you have in any upscale mall in the USA, just at double or even triple the price. Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Coach, etc. Yawn. If you want Japanese shopping, even for fashion, then there's other better areas in Tokyo to do it (Shibuya for example). more
