I couldn't agree more. My spouse took me to a 3-week French Polynesia trip for my birthday in 2005. In addition to the trip, he bought me some Tahitian pearls. Eva Perles is run by a wonderfully charming lady named Eva who sells black pearls. If you are looking to buy pearls, pass up the big chains and go to her.
