Just spent a week in one of the cottages on the lake. It was fantastic!!! the whole cottage is modern and nice with all the conviences of home. the view is great and everything is well positioned such as grill and picnic table. Also the pier into the lake was really nice. hope to spend a vacation here again. more

The pavilion at the beach there is really nice and had large, clean restrooms with nice picnic area. more

They have indeed rebult, at least the beach pavilion! Plenty of parking, no use fee, lots of shaded picnic tables on the pavilion, bathhouses that are a little better than expected, plus outdoor rinse off showers. Easy way to take a quick dip in the Gulf! more

we have stayed at this park three times in the past year and just love it..we can't wait to see it a few years from now, when more of it will be completed, especially the walking trails and bike paths..it is a lovely area..catherine and luther simon, baton rouge, la. more

I passed by Gulf State Park on a recent trip to the coast. All the guest cottages are destroyed as well as the Convention Center and the 825 ft pier. It appears that Hurricane Ivan took its toll and demolition was already underway. Hopefully the State of Alabama can find the funds necessary to rebuild as soon as possible and... more
