My friend and i went horse back riding, and it was perfect, we had the perfect wrangler,,,,,Mark,,, and met the "owner" heard a lot of great old stories......seen a lot of wonderful things, i didnt want to leave,,,,loved it so much i asked if they were hiring,,, i'd hire very cheap !!!!! LOL, as long as i could ride..... i'd... more

We just returned from a 5 nite stay at Dead Horse Ranch state park. We stayed in a 28 foot toy hauler for our daughter's spring break. My advise is to get there early during busy times. We arrived Monday afternoon and even then there were only 4 spots left w/ electric. We got lucky that the spot we got... more

The Trout fishing pond within the park is one of Dead Horse Ranch's secrets. Stocked on a scheduled basis by AZ Game and Fish (http://www.gf.state.az.us/frames/whatsnew/idx_frep.htm)<--stocking schedule, everyone is sure to catch their limit. Spring and Summer months can bring in a crowd around the pond, Fall and Winter months offer mild days and a leaner crowd. more
