This unlike any theme park that I have ever been to. The Tower of Terror is the best ride I have been to this far and the Anaconda, Miner's Revenge and Loop were great fun to. It is a little smaller than other theme parks that I have been to like Disney Land Paris but certainly has more to offer.... more

We did the half day tour with Adventure Tours, getting picked up at our Sandton hotel at 12:30 and dropped at the Joberg Airport for our evening flight at 6:00pm. For any tourist activities in Joberg, and I imagine in S. Africa, it is a much better deal to do a package day tour than to hire a taxi as... more

I wasn't all that impressed, but that is because I was expecting something completely different. A great and affordable theme park to take the kids to. Lots of great amusement rides and shows to see. THis is a fun theme park, trying to pretend to be a little more. If you take it as a fun kids day out, lots of rides, lots of water, it's great value. If you're looking for a piece of authentic history, then stop at the entrance and go to the museum instead, cause Gold Reef City is totally fake... more
