I coordinate a mother-son group & we recently took an overnight trip with California Overland in Borrego Springs. The trip included camping, dinner & breakfast plus some 6-wheel (miltary transport trucks) adventures within Anza-Borrego State Park. Joe & his crew set up the tents, and supplied us with air mattressses, sleeping bags, clean liners etc. After dropping off supplies, they... more

We recently spent the weekend in the ABDSP. Being only a 90 minute drive from San Diego it is very do-able for a weekend or even a day trip. My husband and I are active people that love nature. We recently travelled to San Diego for business and took a couple of days to explore the local area. The Anza Borrego Desert is amazing with varied landscapes and experiences. We stayed at the Palm Canyon Resort which was simple, clean, and comfortable. I strongly encourage you to contact Joe... more

And if you don't feel like roughing it, the town of Borrego Springs has great accomodations and OK restaurants, so it can be used as a base for your... more

There are so many incredible hiking trails here. The folks at the Visitor's Center were very friendly and had some... more

Any visit to Anza Borrego minus a hike in Palm Canyon is incomplete. Don't stop at the first oasis. Continuing further back yields even more beauty. more
