I help plan dozens of friends' trips to vegas each year. The wealthy ones? I tell them to stay at the Venetian (suites for $150/night weekdays). The poor college friends? Riviera or Palace Station. Palace Station: a big casino/hotel that caters to "locals". That means the beer lady actually comes around every 20 min. They actually somewhat care about the... more

Palace Station Casino was a great stay for the dollar and an excellent location since I traveled to Utah and California. The location was perfect since it was right off of the Interstate. I would definitely stay there again! more

If you're looking for a deal, here is the place. I have been to Palace Station twice. I go every December to Vegas to escape the winter chill of Chicago.
