“Tough hike - Fantastic views!”

This is a steep hike, almost all the way to the top. The elevation gain is 2700ft in just 2.5 miles. It does not take an athlete to make it to the top, but you need to be fit and very determined. Pack a minimum of equipment including good hiking boots - Ankle support is highly recommended, and rain-cold-wind protection.... more

Had a great day. The trail has some tough spots, but it is only 2.4 miles to the top of Jefferson. You're above tree line for a lot of it, with awsome views. more
