My husband and I are in our late 20's and early 30's and found The House and Inner Garden tour to be at times exciting and informative and at others less than entertaining. Our tour guide was a very charming gentleman who certainly did his best to extol the virtues of the Rockefellers while providing information on both their lives... more

Kykuit is amazing. The house and grounds were the favorite thing we saw on our whole trip - however, it is not a tour for children. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, and passionate, about the house and the Rockefeller family - but the guides are a little controlling - and possibly rightfully so to keep this treasure the way... more

My husband and I took a weekend get-away to Sleepy Hollow recently and got a chance to visit Kykuit. It was incredible! We had excellent weather, which was very helpful since the gardens are one of the best parts of the tour. I brought my son, who has disabilities, with me to see the Rockefeller estate, Kykuit. The person selling Kykuit tour tickets immediately wanted to know if I could "control" him because he might "disturb" others on the tour.
