We visited the Lagoon on our way to the airport . Our flight was at 16:10, so we had plecty of time and got a later bus to the airport, we loved it so much ! The water blue and warm and there is plenty of room in the lagoon if you want a place to yourself. On arrival you... more

The Blue Lagoon was on my list of things I wanted to see in my lifetime. I had high expectations, and I am happy to say, it was just as cool as I thought it would be. It definitely is an ethereal experience. Even while driving to the parking lot, you see small canals of this crystal blue water flowing... more

I’m not really sure what to say about the Blue Lagoon. I feel I should have liked it far more than I did, based on the reviews here, and wonder what went wrong with my visit. To paraphrase that Nathan Thurm character from the SNL sketch, “Is it me?...it’s them, right?” Maybe it’s a combination of both. I did not... more

The Blue Lagoon has to be one of the world's greatest hot springs. It is an amazing place to visit during a trip to Iceland. Located a short drive from Keflavik airport (15kms) and not too far form Reykjavik (40kms), it is well worth the $25 to visit for a few hours. In fact, we loved it so much we... more

A visit to the lagoon was on our Iceland 'must' do list. We weren't really sure what to expect, but were not disappointed. We loved the lagoon so much, that we visited twice. On the first occasion, it was raining which did not impede our enjoyment too much. It was just so relaxing, wallowing in the hot water covered in... more

I knew that the Blue Lagoon was on every guide book's "Must See" list, so I was determined to visit, yet I was prepared for a touristy offering. Simply, I was thrilled. As the final stop in my Icelandic adventure, I can honestly say that many dimensions of Icelandic culture are at work here: Swimming and bathing are essential to... more

Wow. All i can say is wow. We just returned from a 3 day stopover in Iceland, and our first stop was the blue lagoon. In late May, the wind was howling and we were freezing, but making the jump into the heated waters of the Blue Lagoon was amazing. Depending on the weather, you see cloudy bluish water with... more

I was a bit skeptical about going as it was very cold and raining when we visited, but this did not spoil our experience at all. The water was so warm even though it was very cold and the bad weather meant it was quieter. The silica face mask is fun and the waterfall makes a lovely massage. Stayed in... more
