After reading Mr. Lee's coments I had to give the Country Club of Hlton Head a try. Finally a course which enforces pace of play. Our group played in 4hours 15 minutes. Interesting layout in great condition. Entire staff was very friendly. Picked up a tourist book that had a $20.00 off coupon which made the fees less than Shipyard and in far better condition. more

We had the worst experience in this golf course as the ranger continuously rushes us when there were no others behind us for at least a hole. Even worse, he threatened to have us skipped a hole if we didn't pick up the pace. We finished 18 hole in less than 4.5 hours. more

Simply a Super Golf Course. And hardly anyone playing. The greens were in superb condition, and the course was challenging. 1 day advance tee-time reservation was $49.00. Recommended! more
