Unless you are really into plants, don't go here! Pay is $10 per person. It does have beautiful sceneries, but nothing amazing. The owner boasts that you get to see a waterfall. You do--except it is FAR FAR away from the garden. So it's like you're taking a glimpse at it. You do not get to walk anywhere near the... more

To start off with we are people with an interest in plants. From that perspective I can echo many of the comments here about the nice scenery, lush vegetation, and informative signage. It is a good place to rest and eat your lunch if you have one with you. And it is a wonderful place to photograph flora up-close. We... more

If you have many days to spend along the road, then by all means stop and see it. It does have nice flowers and a somewhat nice view of the ocean. However, for a botanical gardens and arboretum, it does NOT live up to its name! I was not impressed at all. It has a view of a waterfall, but... more

I would just like to confirm and comment on a few of the previous reviews. We felt the same as few other folks when we came across this place. Would it be worth the $10 per person ($5 for kids) or just a little tourist trap? We took the chance and once inside I was glad we did. Everything that... more

This garden is not to be missed on the road to Hana. There are more plants and fauna than flowers, but it's absolutely beautiful and you see so many variations of plant life you may have never seen before. There are some great ocean and waterfall views - very peaceful and serene and great picture opportunities. I was unsure at... more

This was a nice place with well manicured plants that were very healthy. $10 is an ok price in terribly over-priced Maui, and I have paid much more in gardens on the Northeast. My only complaint was Bud the birdman. He is the reason I turn everyone away and will not go back. $20 for him to take pics with... more

Found this on the Road to Hana drive and was not sure exactly what it was, so we turned in and were pleasantly surprised! After initially considering turning around at the $10/person fee for the garden, we bit the bullet (like we haven't already spent tons in Hawaii already!) and entered. After parking, we hiked the trails within the grounds... more

We were almost put off by the entrance fee- $10 to look at plants? We were seeing plenty for free already, but they had restrooms and we needed them. This turned out to be one of our favorite stops. Great views, beautiful grounds, labeled plants, walking trails and very playful peacocks. A great place for lunch if you are a... more

The Garden of Eden truly suits its name. It's beautiful and very peaceful to go through. I could've spent hours there. The views were spectacular and the plants/flowers were all clearly marked. Great view of the upper Puohokamoa falls and the "Jurassic Rock" used in the opening sequence of the the Jurassic Park movie. There are also peacocks roaming the... more

We stopped here on our Maui vacation and very much enjoyed the visit. The admission fee was a little pricey, $10 each, but I think you got your money's worth. There were several ocean vistas that were some of the better ones we saw on the road to Hana. There was also a great waterfall view. We enjoyed touring the... more
