After a lot of research (frommer's, Maui Revealed, etc.) we settled on Ed Robinson Diving Adventures. At ERDA, they focus on what matters, a small group with great dive masters, and great locations. We went on 6 dives with Ed Robinson's. They always had a full boat of 12 divers, plus dive masters. This made for tight space on the boat and a long time getting everyone in and out of the water. On the positive side, they had no more than 6 divers per divemaster, so it did not feel crowded in... more

I just took 7 dive trips out of Kihei during our 2 week visit. I had signed up with ProDiver, but their boat was broken down so I dove with a few other outfits. I dove with Ed Robinson's on my last day of diving, and they were the best. Well run. Fast boat. Lots of room on the boat.... more

We booked at the last minute with Ed Robinson's Dive Adventures, and are not sorry that we did. We've dived in Hawaii many times on most of the islands wirth many different dive operators.
