This beach was amzingly beautiful. We had to pay 30 bucks a day for a cabana, but it was worth it for the beautiful view. There are some chunks of coral that can cut your feet, but otherwise it is amazing. Its also very close to tons of places to stay, eat, or shop. I will be going back. more

This was a beautiful beach. If you like lots of people, this is the beach for you. Black rock snorkeling was good but crowded. The hotel built into the side of the rock was neat to see. But, you can find just as nice of beaches with less crowds on Maui, they're everywhere. more

I was not impressed with Ka'anapali Beach. The water was too high for the amount of beach, leaving little space to lay on the sand (at least near Black Rock). I'll take Hapuna Beach on the Big Island anyday... more

If you like scuba diving, this is the beach for you. If you like surfing or boogie boarding, this is not the right beach. It's very calm water, so it's good for kids. It can get crowded, but since it's a long stretch of beach, you can easily find a good spot. more
