This garden is just across the road from Boston Common and opposite the Cheers place. It's not as well known as Boston Common, which is the big central expanse in the city centre but I liked it more. It has a nice lake, some good statues, swan boats in summer and a better atmosphere than the common. I didn't spend... more

The most beautiful garden i've seen yet and it's free! This place is very big and contain a lot of various plants, trees, and flowers that will take your breath away. Also, the small lake creates a beautiful scenery. It's a must to come here and relax from the stress of the city! more

I recently spent the morning meandering around the gardens with my 3 small children while my husband attended a bussiness conference. The gardens are beautiful, the fountains are tranquil, and the Make Way for Ducklings statues cannot be missed. The swan boat rides were another inexpensive treat. Such a gem in a beautiful city. more

This park is so beautiful! We visited in May. The flowers are in bloom. There are ducks, a few geese with their goslings and 2 swans on the pond. Do not miss a visit to the park, just sitting, relaxing and enjoying nature and the people there. more

One must always stroll through the Public Garden while in Boston. The city serves as a backdrop to the tranquil scenery of the park. Take a Swan Boat ride, watch the ducks, view the “Make Way for Ducklings” sculpture or just meander around. It should not be missed! more

Boston Public Gardens in the fall has to be an almost perfect way to spend a couple of hours. For such a public place it has a tranquil atmosphere. The view across the water to a vista of Boston buildings is strangely lovely to look at. The swan boats glide quietly, mothers sit and watch their kids playing, busy Bostonians... more
